Assignment:
Write two of your pet peeves.
Make two conversations about a complaint between an employee and a customer.
Example:
1. It really annoys me when people chew gum with their mouth open.
2. I can't stand it when people walk slowly on the sidewalk.

Employee: I'm sorry about that! I will bring you a new bowl of soup right away.
Customer: Thank you very much.

Customer: Excuse me, that passenger is speaking very loudly.
Employee: Ok, I will ask the passenger to be more quiet.
Customer: I would appreciate that. Thanks.

Tell an interesting story!
Use simple past, past continuous, and past perfect forms.
Example
During the summer, I was visiting my family in Canada.
One day, while I was studying, my nephews came over to play with me.
We went into the back yard because we had bought a trampoline.
While we were jumping on the trampoline, my nephew kicked me in the eye.
It was an accident. I didn't kill him.
